Writers of the World – Rebecca Rodarte, Debra Falasco, Lynn McLaughlin, Christine Ristaino Discussion Panel

Meet the Panelists:

Christine Ristaino

Ever since Christine Ristaino was a child she has loved to write. She has written short stories, articles, textbooks, academic books, OpEds, and a memoir. Writing for Christine is transformational. It takes her to a new place, a new understanding, a deeper awareness of who she is and the people and places around her. All the Silent Spaces has been the most transformative thus far. It has allowed her to face three traumatic events, led her to speak in front of 6,000 people at a woman’s march, as well as inspired so many other adventures–past, present, and yet to come. Christine hopes you will join her on this journey.

Lynn McLaughlin

Lynn McLaughlin is a Canadian educator who has spent her life devoted to ensuring each of us meets our full potential. Lynn began journaling the day she received a life threatening diagnosis. Grateful for an amazing support network, which included her three teenage children, she is now passionate about sharing her journey of fear and survival. It is Lynn’s hope that by travelling with her and her family through experiences and reflections, you will be empowered to advocate for yourself and others, regardless of life challenges.

Debra J. Falasco

Debra J. Falasco’s heart has always belonged to romance. In Colorado, she met the man she was meant to be with and after marriage and one child, it was time to make another dream come true. She began working on a book and redeveloping characters she had created over twenty years ago. Adrian and Machelle’s love had never been forgotten and with the telling of their story, she created a world of romance she can’t wait to share with readers!

Rebecca Rodarte

Rebecca Rodarte is a romance writer based in Phoenix, Arizona, where you can see the most spectacular sunsets. She spent years using her creativity to make bus parts and office supplies sound interesting. On the day she was assigned to write about room dividers for the third year in a row, she decided to start writing the stories burning inside her, whether fiction or nonfiction. Dating in the Desert is her first romance novella. She has written two self-help books: How to Write a Sassy Heroine; How to Be Your Own Sassy Heroine, which is based on rebuilding after  divorce.
