Love from their readers:

The Abolitionist's Daughter, by Diane C. McPhail

“The Abolitionist’s Daughter is an intricate, involved story of family, of the misunderstandings and divided loyalties that result in unapproachable rifts, and of the cost of freedom. Freedom from doubt, freedom of choice, freedom to love. The backstory of a country at war with itself and the verdant glory that is the lower Mississippi delta make this a book to savor.”

A Girl Like You, by Michelle Cox

“Flavored with 1930s slang and fashion, this first volume in what one hopes will be a long series is absorbing. Henrietta and Clive are a sexy, endearing, and downright fun pair of sleuths. Readers will not see the final twist coming.” Library Journal, Starred Review

The Pearl of Penang, by Clare Flynn

“It is always such a thrill to find a new author. While looking through my Amazon recommendations I found this book and all was put aside to finish it, which I did in two days. A terrific story of A marriage of convenience, the backdrop of impending WW2 in the pacific, passionate love and so much more.”

Never Let Go, by Pamela Nowak

“Pamela Nowak has captured the human spirit in vivid and heart-wrenching detail. The narrative in Never Let Go is wrought with human emotion… historical fiction that demands to be read, not only for its historical significance but out of respect and admiration for the women of Lake Shetek.”  — Phil Mills, Jr., author of Where the Wildflowers Dance

It Happened in Silence, by Karla M. Jay

“An inspiring story of injustice and family loyalty set in turbulent 1920s Georgia. Powerfully written and totally unputdownable! If you are a fan of The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson, this novel is for you” — Wishing Shelf Review

Josie: A Story of Faith and Survival, by Susan Lowe

“I can say that reading this book felt like watching a movie clip. The fear these people felt and the courage they had to overcome this fear is remarkable. I don’t know what I would have done in the situation. This is a terrible time in history but it shows God’s magnificent grace. This is well written.”
