Writers of the World – Elizabeth Silva, Jeanne McWilliams Blasberg, Lizbeth Meredith and Lisa Boucher Video Discussion Panel

Meet the Panelists:

Elizabeth Silva

Elizabeth Silva is the pen name of Patty Sisco, who wrote her memoir, Another Cheesy Family Newsletter, after retirement from a career in education.  She is a community contributor for the Dallas Morning News and an advocate for autism, addiction, grandparents raising grandchildren, and mental health awareness.  She lives in Grand Prairie, Texas with her husband, two grandsons, a dog and two cats.

Jeanne McWilliams Blasberg

Upon graduation from Smith College, Jeanne made stops on Wall Street, Macy’s, and writing case studies at Harvard Business School. However, growing up an only child who interacted with various imaginary friends, she’s better suited for writing fiction. Jeanne’s novels explore the mother/child dynamic and what ensues when societal pressure clashes with maternal instinct.

Lizbeth Meredith

Lizbeth Meredith is a writer based in Alaska with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s degree in Psychology. She has worked as a domestic violence advocate and a child abuse investigator, and with at-risk teens as a juvenile probation supervisor. Her work has appeared in Feminine Collective, Sunlight Press, and Jane Friedman’s blog

Lisa Boucher

After short stints where Lisa trained polo horses, worked as a flight attendant, hairdresser, and bartender, she revamped her life and settled in as a registered nurse. For past twenty-nine years she has worked with hundreds of women to overcome alcoholism, live better lives and become better parents. Raising the Bottom is her fifth book. She was prompted to write Raising the Bottom when she realized after twenty plus years of working in hospitals, that doctors and traditional health care offer few solutions to women with addiction issues. She is the mother of twin sons, and lives in Ohio with her husband.
