Writer of the Week Video Interview
Instructions
- Please sign up for a free account at www.Zoom.us and be logged in.
- Please have your back against a blank wall for recording.
- Please have this set up complete before the video and sound check – thank you!
- Lighting: lighting from in front of you if possible (light coming from behind the computer – example desk lamp etc. ).
- Please e-mail big (high resolution) images to UBDCreative@Hotmail.com
Images of you signing books / speaking, of your life growing up (anything you feel comfortable sharing), activities, hobbies, with your family, pets, anything you’ll discuss in the interview.
Writer of the Week, in addition to highlighting your book, provides a protrait of you as a person, your life, the writer behind the book. - Your Book cover and bio pic.
Sequence of how the interview takes place
- Pre-panel video and sound check by Zoom (20 minutes).
- I send you the interview script with 8 questions (you can provide input on the questions if you like).
- The recording takes place and we decide on a date for the premiere.
- I edit the interview, and e-mail you the premiere link and Instagram image.
- Premiere takes place (live event on YouTube, everyone watches it live at the same time with fans, friends and family and can leave comments in the sidebar.
- Optional – I offer coaching sessions (takes 1 or 2 hours) where I show you how to set up your YouTube channel to showcase your Media Appearances section and feature the interview.
