Reader Reviews:

Have You Seen These Children? by Veronica Slaughter

“Slaughter writes with passion, gracefully offering the delicate details of her parents’ courtship and the erosion of her own relationship with her father as well as relating the fear and confusion that she and her siblings felt. Her narrative dexterity will hook readers immediately… A poignant account of traumatic childhood memories, resilience, and survival.” – Kirkus Reviews

Dancing in the Narrows, by Anna Penenberg

“Prepare to jump through time and travel along with Anna, the author, as she seeks healing strategies, normative and alternative, for her daughter, suffering from a debilitating and baffling disease. A rare, tender, honest look at resilience and hope in the face of overwhelming pain and disappointment. Written with an artist’s touch.” – Alicia Magal

The Shoebox Effect, by Marcie J. Keithley

“This book is such a great read, and you will find yourself not being able to put it down. It is such a page turner, but then also so thought-provoking and makes the reader self reflect. We all have a shoebox, whether it is emotional or physical. The author takes the time to not only just tell her story, but to make the reader think about their own shoebox and their own history.”

Prisoners Without Bars, by Donna O'Donnell Figurski

“My wife’s brain injury has also changed the course of our family’s life. It’s inspiring to read Donna’s account of those early days in her and David’s journey.
All brain injuries are vastly different, but all of us that find ourselves as a caregiver, it’s important to realize and remember that we are not alone.” Amazon Review

All the Silent Spaces by Christine Ristaino

“Not just a memoir but a conversation that is beautiful, personal, honest and real. Christine asks the questions and ponders dark thoughts that many of us have. Refreshing to read a story of processing life experience, not to find fault or blame but to find the meaning that makes all of the moments of joy, hurt, conflict and confusion that form the fabric of our existence.” – Amazon Review

A Grant Madness, U2 Twenty Years After, by Dianne Ebertt Beeaff

“It captivated my interest from page one, the diary format used to recount the authors experiences surrounding the 20 years of her reverence for the band not only depicted information of U2’s life, but is also a timeline of personal events, seasonal changes and a chronicle of world events.”
